Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before you turn 65, includes the month you turn 65, and ends 3 months after the month you turn 65.
You are disabled, any age, and eligible for Medicare. Sign up for Medicare and a Part D plan. Your coverage begins
24 months after you get Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) benefits. Sign up for a Medicare Advantage Plan
Your Special Enrollment Period begins 21 months after you get Social Security of RRB benefits. Your chance to sign up lasts through the 27th month after you receive your Social Security or RRB benefits.
You turned 65 but are already eligible for Medicare due to a disability. Switch from your current Medicare Part D plan to another plan. Includes the 7-month period that starts 3 months before the month you turn 65 and the month you turn 65. Ends 3 months after the month you turn 65.
